Google redirected, cannot update A/V, others

I'm getting the same problem as many others here. My google searches are being redirected, and now I cannot update A/V, Windows, etc.

I have downloaded, installed and run about a dozen A/V, Spyware, cleaning tools, and it's not getting better. Went through the 8-step process last night, with no luck, as I cannot update a couple products to current at this time.

Anybody know a solution to this Google nightmare yet?

I've never had to post one of these, have always been able to fix them myself, but not this one.

What do I need to do to get assistance here?
