According to Ormandy, his attack scenario works using all major browsers, including Microsoft's newest, IE8.

It affects every thing by the way; now have anyone noticed chrome was recently patched for (if i remember correctly) 8 critical patches ? So their argument about being security conscious or having more secure solution doesn't hold much value to me.

Beside, I think they are following simple philosophy i.e. everything is fair in war ........
