when i ran avast it made changes to my computer, like the temp profile, and it does not show anything currently in the chest but i cant access a bunch of stuff that had been in the chest. I may have missed something but i don't remember you telling me what to do with the avast results after i posted the log. i thought i already uninstalled MSE but if i have both MSE and avast which one would you recomend I keep?

Im just trying to wrap up everything i needed to do related the instrustions that you gave specificly to me based on my various scan results. i will create a new topic in windows forum, but i thought it might be difficult for someone else to lnow what i should do without knowing what you asked me to do and why. i can try to explain it to them but i am not fluent in the technical lingo.

i have not used firefox or google search since i started using this forum because they seemed to be related to the virus. is it safe to use them again? Im just worried about reinfection, i would hate to have to repeat this entire proccess. I am going to run though all of the posts from the beginning of this topic to make sure i didnt miss anything. if you are sure i have removed the likely culprits i trust u, i just want to be sure we have tied up all the loose ends.
this has been a tedious proccess but i learned a lot and im happy to have my computer clean and well protecteed. its a perfect time to install my new 2 terabyte hard drive!
