GPU fan at 0RPM in SpeedFan

First post, first ever real problem!

I noticed my laptop becoming unreasonably hot lately and after installing SpeedFan I started wondering if my GPU Fan is still working correctly. Apparently right now my GPU is 66 C but my GPU Fan is still on 0 RPM. Is this more likely a software inhibiting it from turning, my inability to make it turn with SpeedFan (even though I assume it should be turning anyway when the GPU is at 66 C) or is it a hardware failure?

    Thanks in advance.

I'd bet on option D): SpeedFan isn't detecting the fan :).
