I play games with a resolution of just 1366x768 and I'm just wondering will HD 6870 be enough for me to play games until 2016 (using that resolution) or should I go for gtx 560 ti? also my cpu is just q8400 quad core.....

also im using psu 500w...will I be okay? tnx

4 years is a long time in the GPU world... but considering your resolution you might get away with a GTX 560Ti or 6950. I don't think the 6870 and below will be enough to last you 4 years.

What brand is the PSU? A quality 500W PSU should be fine, a generic 500W PSU won't.

btw what do you recommend gtx 560 ti or Hd 6950??

Overall 6970 > GTX 560Ti 448 core > 6950 > GTX 560 Ti, but it depends on the individual game. Some run better on AMD cards and others run better on Nvidia cards. This might help.

best all around stock 6950 which can be made into a 6970 just saying.
