GPU performance scale

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there's some way for me to see how bad my current card is (GTX 9800+) compared to newer cards. Like a website with loads of cards and general performance figures so it's easy to compare?

any suggestions welcome,

Here's a little chart that compares mot cards made over the last 15 years. More powerful as you go toward the top less powerful as you go down.

Your 9800GTX+ is roughly comparable to a geForce GTS450 or radeon HD5750/6750 which are both lower mid-range cards. It is no longer a top end card but it will still run most games on medium settings. Of course the 9800GTX+ will use much more power and run much hotter than a modern equivalent.

By the way - I wouldn't trust passmark's chart - I find it to be generally off most of the time, both in CPU and GPU scaling.

Probably due to everyone over-clocking. It's still a good generalized benchmarking site.
