Graphics card help

Yeah so I got a PNY Nvidia graphics card,
so I went and installed it but for somereason each time I try plugging in my VGA plug into the Graphic cards VGA Slot it shows a black screen and I see nothing but the normally green light I see on my moniter turn orange(Sleep mode)

Im really at wits end please help me.

Do you have an onboard graphics solution, if so you may need to disable it first bfor install.

Yeah I disabled it still no luck.

Have you checked your BIOS settings? You will have to select your graphics adapter from there and enable it (PCIe or AGP).
