Hacked plz help!

hi all,

My friend has recently decided to pee me off and hacked into my hotmail account. I was shocked how he manged to do this but he only told me i had some sort of program that allowed access to my messages. Obviously he has changed the password , so plz is there anyone out there who can tell me of how to retreive my account

It would probably be easier to contact Microsoft directly & ask how to proceed to have it back.
