I had my computer at my dads this weekend and was playing halo PC at 1280x1024, and I bring it back here where my max resolution is 1152x864. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and when i start it i cant see anything except my desktop, with no mouse I can move the mouse up and down and hear the sounds of the halo menu. Is there any way I can keep my profile and stuff and get this to work?

you can force a resolution by changing the properties of the halo shortcut, under the 'compatibility' tab (win 2k/xp only). i'd try that first.

does windows have the right monitor drivers installed?

driver corruption can also cause the problem, in which case you would at least need to reinstall your graphics card drivers.

Yes, Yes and Yes, deleted my profile and lost all my progress, now i quit playing so it was a lose/lose situation, and i am sad :(
