Pay attention to the interface type (IDE or SATA) and the drive speed. If the old drive speed was a 5400, the new drive should be 5400 and so on. The MK1032GSX should work. It is 5400, and the old drive was 4200. In this case you should be ok with the speed increase hopefully
Thanks for the info. I looked at the possible replacement; it is "Serial ATA," & both have the same size (2.5 inches). I will give it a try. If you do not hear from me, it worked. Thanks, again.
