Today i bought a Seagate-FreeAgent Go 1TB External USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive because an associate at best buy told me it would work well. when i got home i uninstalled my sims 2 game from my computer hard drive and installed it the external hard drive. the intruduction of the games plays and when it comes to start loading........it states " your application has crashed and will now terminate this program" what do i do?

it seems that sims doesnt like being installed on an external drive, they are built for backups mainly.
Try another app, it may be just that one that is fussy.

hmm; really strange there. I would uninstall it again and then reboot.; then reinstall
to the external device.
the game really should not care or even know that it is external and access the device
via a Drive Letter Assignment like everyone else -- if not, then the developer was plain nuts!
