Hard Drive Not Showing up in my computer

i installed a new western digital 160gb SATA hard drive and i have another SATA hard drive that has windows on that i was using before

the hard drive will show up in the device manager but will not show up under my computer

both hard drives are show up on the boot screen

im still goin to use the old one to boot windows off of but i needed the new one for more space

It sounds like you haven't formatted your new disk yet. Right click on My Computer and choose Manage. Then browse to your disks and find the unformatted disk and format it as NTFS or FAT32, should be all better.

thanks......im formating now but i was dumb and did a complete format instead of a quick format so i shall find out in a bit but the drive shows up in my computer now so i think it should work just fine
