I have a 250 gig hard drive installed on my pc, after i installed windows it says i only have 128 gigs of free space... could this be because of raid? In order to install windows i had to install 3rd party raid drivers. Can i get this space back?

Yes i think it is because of raid. What Op Sys are you using? vista or xp?

xp pro- with my abit ab9 mobo, when i built my pc, i had to go back and buy a floppy drive because it wouldnt install windows without making me put that driver in. and it was only on floppy...

It may be the size of the partition when you selected to create one as part of the Windows installation. I forget what the default is. You can restart the installation and resize the partition if you like. It won't affect your installation.

'i have core2 that prog isnt supported, cant use that.'

What program - the main focus of that thread is 48 bit LBA.
