  1. I have a 250 gig hard drive installed on my pc, after i installed windows it says i only have 128 gigs of free space... could this be because of raid? In order to install windows i had to install 3rd party raid drivers. Can i get this space back?

It may be the size of the partition when you selected to create one as part of the Windows installation. I forget what the default is. You can restart the installation and resize the partition if you like. It won't affect your installation.
