Hard drive problem

    Hi, I have a 120GB SATA2 W.D. hard drive and it's brand new (nothing on it) and im trying to load windows on the sucker and i get the following message:

    "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"

    I created a boot disk with my other computer and put it in the A: drive and the windows cd in the d: drive. I booted from CD-ROM and I still got that message.

    anyone help?
