I can no longer detect my 320GB HD, well... sorta, it's partitioned into 2 drives, one is viewable while the other is not. Under Window's Defragment, it says it's an unmounted volume - how can I re-mount it?

It's unmounted for a reason, probably because Windows cannot read the partition (Often the result of a damaged file system).

Start > Run > diskmgmt.msc will give you more power to investigate, including the ability to remount / assign drive letters to your volume.
