    Have any of you seen this site? It's really quite interesting and I'm planning on doing the same thing with one of my old harddrives.

    i don't get it ? Why not just buy speakers and make the hard drives into clocks ?

    I saw on the show TheScreenSavers some guy who modded a harddrive into a clock. That's actually pretty cool.

    A friend of mine has one that is about 1' x 1/2 foot. The drive was originally a Seagate. It is huge, however it is a good example of how far technology has come, its total size is 10 Megs yes just 10 MEGS....Its pretty funny
