hardware or virus?!

i my computer has been crashing then on the internal speaker it beeps like
a dun dun dunnn, like a dark song or something scary.

i never had a hardware failure so i never heard what the beeps sounds like, or is the beeps different with every computer

i got mcafee and found one trojan so i removed it
it seems that wasnt the problem cause it still crashes
i have been scanning with mcafee and have not found anything

What Operating System (Windows XP Home or Pro) are you using and what kind of computer (HP, Dell, Gateway) is it? McAfee is crap, and viruses are bad!

Just because you have never had a hardware error doesn't mean you'll never have one. The Trojan may have left damage behind even though crappy McAfee found it and removed it

sorry i didnt include this before im running xp home and its a custom built computer, but it doesnt have anything special.

if the trojan did do damage before it was removed how can i fix that?
