Has anybody ever encountered a virus names bloodhound.exploit?

  1. I have this popup saying my pc found a trojan named bloodhound.exploit. I'm running vista buisness and my pc is a client pc in a domain. I was thinking of running malwarebytes but I want a second opinion. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

    bloodhound.exploit has been around a while...

    Any time you have or suspect you have malware,
    the process is to start with the 8 steps, being careful to miss nothing.

    bookwyrm, i first tried a scan in safe mode using malwarebytes and it seemed to have wiped that virus away or not, but the popup went away so I say it worked.woohoo cheers to malwarebytes! thanks for your advice!

    Please follow the 8-step guide from start to finish. Your computer was infected and could very possibly still be infected with not only malware, but spyware and other viruses as well. Attach your logs to your next post.
