Has my PC Blown up?

  1. Well, when i got home from college my pc was fine, i transfered a tv show from my pc to my xbox so i could watch it on my tv. When i was watching it i fell asleep. Then when i woke up i found that my pc had been shut off and wouldn't turn back on. I've checked the power cable, the ram, disconnected my hard drives and still nothing. I can tell though that the motherboard or the power pack hasn't blown because when i stick a USB stick in, the light will come on the usb stick when i turn the pc on (Using the power pack switch at the back, not the power button at the front)

When i attempt to to turn the pc on i hear absoulutly nothing at all.

Does anyone know what's up with it?

Sounds weird, possible that MoBo is not working if you still recieve power from PC. Might have overheated and damaged itself or burnt out a chip. Give it a 24 hours switched off at mains and then give it another try.
