Having problems being redirected from Google searches

hi newbie here.

I've noticed recently I am being redirected after doing google searches. I've done a google search now and found your site.

I'm not sure what to do TBH, so I appreciate any help you can give me. Just let me know what to do and I'll follow

I've got Spybot, but I haven't kept it up to date (smacks wrist) and tonight, after downloading the update, it won't install itself on my machine.

I've also got Avast antivirus, but I've not had chance to run that yet.
