HD ready TV + Graphics card

Hi there,
I am looking to get a new PC this month and i want to connect it up to my HD ready TV. So what i wanted to know is what graphics card do i need to enable me to play an HD signal through the TV when im on the computer (if thats even possible).

I am also planning to get a digital TV card in the computer so is there any particular graphics card that will be best for me if im going to be watching tv on the computer too?

Overall, im trying to set up my perfect home cinema system. I want to be playing the best quality picture possible out of my TV and need you guys to tell me how

I have set up a media Center PC & just use a 7300GS Card. I use DVI to the 38" LCD. You don't really need a $1000 Card.

I'd recommend a Dual TV Card so you can record & watch another chanel at the same time. {They aren't that much more}.
