HDD led working like power led

i have a intel 845GLAD mother board. all its front panel connections are correct n working good exclude hdd led light. its always on like power led. (not blinking ). i have win xp service pack 2. 40 gb hdd , samsung dvd writter. hdd primary n dvd secondary master. 512mb ram too. what i have 2 do make that hdd led to blink like all other meachine. my connection to the front panel as pic shows .

Reverse the position of the HDD LED leads on the motherboard header

yup ur connector arent connected properly on the mobo, quite a simple fix if u can see what ur doin on the board. altho id advise a good lamp/torch to be able to see
