HDD to HDD copy content

  1. i just bought an HP laptop and want to copy my stuff from my desktop 80 GB hard drive to my laptop's 250 GB HDD. How do i do it?

    Drag and Drop.

    Come on now, you are going to have to give us something to work with here. A network transfer would be the easiest.

    Crossover cable, straight cable and a hub, straight cable and a router, wirelessly, any of them will work.

    Please read the link in my signature. You aren't giving us much to work with here. Just saying a desktop and a laptop gives me nearly limitless options to tell you, and I don't want to spend 10 minutes writing a post or telling you how to do each and every possible way when it would only take 10 more seconds in writing your post to give us some information on your setup/options.

    guys really sorry but dont kno much about computers thats y.
    i dont have any clue about laptops
    RIck, how do u put a laptop's harddrive in an external enclosure?
