Hi guys, I know this is my first post so I'm sorry that it is to ask for help. I own a set of Turtle Beach X11 headphones that I originally bought for use with my 360. However, I discovered I could use them for PC too so I now use them primarily for teamspeak and such. To start with I had no problem setting it up: Just plugged in the USB lead, mic lead into pink jack, audio into green jack and everything worked fine without the need for drivers or any set up. Everything has worked fine for weeks but all of a sudden my microphone is no longer detected by my PC. The headset speakers work fine, I can hear other people but they cant hear me. The weird thing is I can hear myself speak through the speakers when i speak into the mic, so clearly it isnt a hardware issue but something else has changed by itself. The only thing I did before the mic stopped working (Aside from use teamspeak like normal) was to install hamachi and to try and use the STEAM voice chat feature, out of curiosity. I first assumed that one of these had maybe interfered so I did a rollback but that didnt help. I have tried all the basic stuff and am pretty sure my sound card drivers are up to date that I know of but any help would be very much appreciated. P.S. I have an ASUS motherboard with a built in sound card. Here is a dxdiag just in case it helps: UPDATE: I bought a cheap plug and play mic that just plugs into the mic jack to check if a new one would work. Unfortunately it doesnt, same problem: I know the mic works since I can hear myself speaking through my speakers, however, my PC still doesnt recieve any input from the mic and so doesnt record any sound. I only have one sound device that I can select so its not a problem with having the wrong thing selected. I also have 'Microphone' selected for recording and for playback so it is also not a problem with that. Could it be a problem with my sound card? I didnt think so because sound works fine and I havent had any error messages or anything. Any help is appreciated guys.
