Hi im new to these forums came here looking for help.
Ive had this laptop for a while recently bought some upgrades for it, before the parts arrived i tried to change the bios password to somthing different, well i restarted and it would no longer accept the old password...nore the new one.
Parts came in and for weeks ive been stuck at the password screen.
Purchased "http://cgi.ebay.com/TOSHIBA-Tecra-8000-8100-8200-BIOS-Password-Removal-Key_W0QQitemZ170022133942QQihZ007QQcategoryZ40177QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem"
Was a scam and never came in the mail.
I have been told a program "keydisk.exe" or somthing can bypass the bios password, but we have a problem, my laptop does not have a floppy drive.
So heres where you get to help me
, im thinking about purchasing an external floppy drive (usb connected) to try to use that "keydisk.exe".
Will i need to install drivers for the floppy drive? Im running winxp sp2.
