Hello

Here is one for everyone? I have a 2000 Volkswagen jetta. Ok went out to start it and nothing, ok then I went to shut it off and its like the switch won't turn off all the way, the dash lights are on like the switch is not shutting off, so went and bought a switch well thats not it, tried a good battery and thats not itso wondering if the neutral safety switch has something to do with it not shutting off all the way? anyone?

My car has done something like that, but it was when I was changing the alternator. Apparently if the wires arent attatched to it then even with the key out, the dash lights would stay on til i disconnected the battery. Once the wires were hooked back up all was fine again though. Just a thought.

same here! but with camaro. turned out the issue was the wires themselves with me. reconnected them but had somehow got crossed and fried eachother.
