Help buying comp

Hey everyone

A guy is offering me this stuff for 120$

1. AMD X2 3800+ with ThermalRight XP 120 Heatsink
2. Asus A8N-E mobo
3. XFX GeForce 7800GTX 512MB

AmigoGT 120MM Led fan, 2 DVI to VGA convertors , a GFX card cooler

Is it worth it ?

It might be worth it, pending it's all working. I know it's hard to buy a video card alone that is 512mb and up for a bill. Go for it.

Check if he has registered the card on the XFX website. If he has, then the lifetime warranty will carry over to your card, courtesy of XFX's Double Lifetime Warranty.

But overall, looks like a great price, if indeed everything is working perfectly.

yes it is actually worth it, you would probably pay 75% of that with just your mobo and thats if your on a budget

I say buy it.
You can always throw a better cpu or GFX card in it later, it's a good price for now, and a decent upgradeable system for later.

Just for comparison that mobo on eBay goes for around $50.00, give or take $10 on the average. I have that AMD X2 3800+ cpu and it is very steady. Since it is socket 939 getting cpu upgrades is nigh impossible except for places like eBay.

Depending on what you want to use the computer for you could make yourself a nice little rig.
