Help deleting a folder

    hi guys, im trying to delete ATI Multimedia folder in Program Files but it keeps giving me a access denied message. i tried in safe mode and no luck. anyone know how?

    These folders are for your installed software
    You must remove them from Add/Remove programs only

    Note: some program files folders cannot be removed, as they are required for Windows to work properly

    It looks like the Multimedia center is a download:
    Be sure you are ready to live without any of it's features and that other programs an apps in the system won't be affected if you remove it.

    If it's a matter of "permissions" you will have to sign on under the Administrative Account. You will need to make sure though that it does not start when you boot, or it will not allow the uninstall:

    Start> Run> type in ''msconfig' without the quotes> Selective Start-up> Startup tab> uncheck the process that is for this> Apply> OK.

    Reboot> Close the nag message that comes up after checking 'don't show this message again'.

    Now do the uninstall in the Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs.
