    Hi all,

    need your help desperately

    My brother moved the windows files from the C: to the D:

    on the subsequent boot up, the system just restarts...

    can anyone advise me what to do?

    You should be able to boot off an o/s CD and move them back.
    If you look at the directory structure on the PC you're on now, you could use it as a guide.
