Help! My computer won't work right.

I have NO idea what happened.

I went to turn my computer on and the fans and everything worked right, but the monitor said "No signal". Then, it turned off. I had an orange light on it. Now, everytime I go to turn the monitor on, it shuts off! Help please!

First thing to do is have a look inside your pc to see if it is clogged up with dust, if it is, give it a thorough clean out!!!

Then try removing and refitting ram and all cards!!!

Do you have another monitor you can test on your system, or are you able to test that monitor on another system?

Next, I'd follow rik's suggestion and open up your case to double check your connections (did you recently move your computer?).

My guess is, your PSU (power supply) may be failing you, but it could be any number of things, and we'll just have to troubleshoot one thing at a time.
