Help my PC keeps crashing

sorry if im posting this in the wrong place but its my 1st post. wenever im trying to do anything ie download, play games or converting things my pc just goes off and the light on the tower just flashes between blu and amber plz help

It would be good if we knew what kind of computer you had. That way we can better pinpoint what your problem is.

Since you say that it only happens when you 'do' things you may have an issue in your processor or RAM.

Does your computer beep or give a strange message at startup? If it beeped it probobly woudln't turn on but I'm gonna ask anyway.
