Just this one is very annoying

    "Backdoor.win32.ircbot.st" (Detected by zone alarm)

    Location: C\Windows\system32\winsvcmon.exe

So can anyone link us to a removal tool for this? Thanks :)

well im not sure of what os you have but here is a patch for that nasty problem...

i had this same problem and avg grabbed it for me then i applied the patch so i would advise you to do the same, if you cant remove it with avg, applying the patch might still fix it, im not sure though...

if still no luck try spybot s&d

hmm, i had better luck with this problem... its pretty serious on your system.
so it only lets you in safe mode? i know when i had it , it caused me a great deal of lag in normal mode, because my firewall and virus scanner kept grabbing it, and popping up, so then i downloaded avg, and booted in safe mode ran a scan and presto! it cleaned the file...
