Help with AirPort Express and iPad 2

    hello guys..
    i need to conect my ipad 2 (if i buy one) in an ethernet cable
    so, i was thinking to buy an aiport express
    does anybody now if i need to know the local wire password to connect the internet..
    or is just plug the ethernet cable in the airport express and it will work
    did i make myself undertandable?
