help with identifyng agp port

  1. dont know if my computer has agp port brand new computer already bought card cant believe it doesnt. hpa1120n.

    What motherboard do you have? Do you have the motherboard book? If so It should show a diagram of your mobo with all the ports labeled. Also, have you looked at your motherboard? Take the side of the computer off, take a flashlight and look inside. Do you see a slot(not pci), that looks a little bigger and than pci and is right next to pci? That is where it would be found. I beleive it is a little longer than the pci port. It should be a different color too. Like brown for example. Ok hope that helps

    HP Pavilion a1120n does NOT have an AGP slot, only 3-PCI slots.

    If you're planning on upgrading the video card, you're severely limited to PCI-only upgrade solutions. Of these, I'd recommend (in order of recommendation):
    Geforce 6200 PCI
    Geforce FX5500 PCI
    Radeon 9250 PCI
