Help with Medieval Total War

    Well here's the prob: I accidentally turned off the game while it was loading to quit, when I came back and everytime I load the game I was playing, a sound like a problem encountered (like Don-Don!) and the screen goes black, I can't do anything to go back to windows and see the problem, and it appears the loading icon is still on the mouse. I think the problem is that it is the game itself and if I delete the game, it will fix it? Can anybody help me here?
