Help with my graphics card

  1. OK I got counter strike 1.6 and i always play it, but it lags so much, even without a lot of people and I know its gotta be with my video card.

    My PC specs
    Acer aspier t135
    AMD sempron(tm) processor 3000+
    1.80ghz 768 RAM
    ASUS A9550 secondary

    This is what it says on the steam site
    Requirements for counter strike source
    Minimum: 1.2 GHz Processor, 256MB RAM, DirectX 7 level graphics card, Windows 2000/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection
    Recommended: 2.4 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX 9 level graphics card, Windows 2000/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection


    Counter Strike 1.6 Requirements

    Minimum: 500 mhz processor, 96mb ram, 16mb video card, Windows 2000/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection
    Recommended: 800 mhz processor, 128mb ram, 32mb+ video card, Windows 2000/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

    Please tell me what graphic card i need to play it properly without lagging that is compatible with my computer
    The game just freezes after a while, it works then it just freezes, or it blacks out
    Please also I want to play counter strike source but I know it will freeze so i did not get it till I get a new video card
    Please tell me a good one to get...Please Help me :)

    Really "1.80ghz 768 RAM" is just too low spec for these types of games
    You are best to upgrade your entire computer

    Oh I edited above, take note:

    When creating new threads try to use proper layout (especially for large posts such as yours above)
    Do not use words such as "i" or "g card" Try to be clear on all your wordings and spelling

    TechSpot is not an English tutorial, but hopefully you will see the difference above to your original unreadable post. :rolleyes:
    Creating a clear readable post, will usually allow more members to reply with further help :)
