I had what I thought was a hard disk failure.
I removed the drive and put it into another computer (slave).
It recognizes it when the computer reads the drives (but not in the setup..weird) and then againwhen I log into windows it sees it as a drive (E) in My Computer.
So the disk is not fried but it has XP installed. If I switch drives on boot it doesn't load. So I am guessing that it is an XP issue. Is there a way I can repair XP on it from within windows as I can't boot to it and the bios does not see it as a drive?
