Hey I got an ipod with a problem

    So when I turn my ipod on, it goes to the screen with the apple logo, and remains there. I can not get to the menu. does anyone have a clue of what to do? thanks

    have you tried the reset function?

    1) switch the hold switch on then off
    2) hold menu and enter button together for 6 seconds.

    no the reset button didnt work, but maybe this will help it also goes to a folder with a exclamation mark. thanks

    What happens when you connect it to a computer? And how does it go to a folder with an exclamation mark? When you reset it? Or is it now going from the Apple logo screen to this folder by itself?
