Hide drive letters in Win 7

I have to explain a person (who don't know much about computers) how to hide a drive letter in Windows 7. And I have to explain it in an email. He want to hide is F: - drive, it is one of 4 partitions on 2 seperate hdd's. I know there are many ways to do this, any suggestions as to what's the easiest way? The fewer steps, the better.

I don't know if this is posible, but even better would be is there is a way to disable the entire hdd (without opening the computer case, of course), since none of the 2 partitions of the secondary hdd are neded.
