I have just bought the program everest and it is showing some weird stuff. Everything seems to be okay apart from when i look at the gpu temps. Heres what its telling me:

    GPU1 : 111°C
    GPU1 Diode: 114°C
    GPU1 Ambient : 101°C
    GPU1 Memory°C
    GPU1 VRM: 89°C

    GPU2: 104 °C
    GPU2 Diode: 110°C
    GPU2 Ambient: 93°C
    GPU2 Memory: 104°C
    GPU VRM: 89°C

Im not really sure what this all means but it seems like its on fire (the only thing i am doing on my pc is writing this post).

When using the Nvidia system monitor it shows GPU1 temp 113°C

    Thnx for any input.

Open up the case and see if these unbelieveable temps change at all. If you are not having restart or freezing problems with your system, these temps are false readings

I turned off my pc for about 20 mins, opened up the case and turned it back on. The temp showing when i turned it on was 50°C and is gradually rising. Its at 60°C atm. How hot is the 9800gtx2 supposed to get? Thx

    9800GTX2s are extremely hot.

Sometime it can run on insane temperature and they are still healthy on that temperature. I suggest you to email to your gpu manufacturer so you can find out the truth :p
