HijackThis log file for analysis

    I ran AdAware (def file SE1R76 22.11.2005) and Spybot 1.2 in safe mode, rebooted back into safe mode and ran HijackThis 1.99.1, removed several entries according to google search results. However, after rebooting back to normal mode, there are still popups showing up.

    Attached is the log file of HijackThis run in normal mode. I appreciate if someone could analyse it and tell me what to do.

    It's random. For example, I am looking at weveral right now: "Get the Next Generation of IM Smileys!", "Registry Cleaner Recommended", "WinAntiVirusPRO 2006", ...

    I've turned on the IE popup blocker to the highest level.

    Try scanning with your antivirus and see if it finds anything. I also recommend you dl the trial version of spy sweeper, it allows for one def. update.

    Disable web content on desktop.

    Right-click on the desktop,
    select Properties,
    Desktop tab,
    Customize Desktop,
    Web tab,
    Delete everything except "My Current Home Page".

  6. cozx3 Newcomer, in training

    I'm wondering if I have any spyware issues? Just bought X3 and only getting 10 FPS. Was advised to run Hijackthis and post a log file......can any1 help?

    P.S How do u attach something on this site?
