Hitachi Deskstar 7k250. I need the driver

I have an old PC here that I am trying to wipe clean and reinstall Windows XP onto. Before I can do this, however, I need the driver for the old HDD that's been installed. It's a Hitachi Deskstar 7k250 part# hds722580vlsa80. I have been searching all day and I can't find one anywhere. I realize that it's dated technology, but I am hoping someone can help.

You're looking for the wrong driver, sort of. You really want the motherboard SATA controller driver. When installing XP onto a SATA hard drive, you need to install the SATA/RAID driver at the F6 prompt at the beginning of Windows Setup but you need a floppy drive for this. If you don't have a floppy, you can make a slipstream CD with the SATA driver included. There are plenty of guides on the internet on how to make them.
