HJT Log... clean?

I've just learned a hard lesson. Being a programmer I guess I should know better, but I went searching for a crack for Nero and ended up with a bunch of nasties including tcpipmon.exe, ipmon, "Spyware Infection Has Detected!" virus in the taskbar, Generic3.PSO, Clicker.EOD, Proxy.MWP, downloaders and adware of various sorts.

Based on various threads on this site, I've done the following already:
- Install AVG
- install ZoneAlarm
- run SmitFraudFix.exe
- run vcleaner.exe (from AVG site)

I no longer have the "Spyware Infection Detected" icon in the taskbar (yah!), however, the worst part is that none of my 3 CD / DVD drives are recognized anymore. They have power but are not found by xp. I may end up reinstalling but I was hoping someone could look at my HJT log below to see if I was successful. If so MANY THANKS!! This site, and it's very helpful posters, ROCK!!

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Your system is infected with a variety of malware.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.

OK, I'm going back to "Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions." and making sure I've followed ALL the steps, then will post fresh HJK, combofix, etc. logs. This may take awhile...
