I hope I'm posting this in the correct forum. Please redirect me if I am not. My homepage is locked to excite.com do not believe it is malware locking the homepage. I have run Spybot and everything comes up clean. I have also run AVG as well and it comes up clean.

I have tried booting in Safe mode with networking and changing the homepage but it will not take the change there either. Where else can I check or what else can I fix to release my homepage so that I can change it. Here is my Hijack this log

    Thanks

Have you just tried to change the settings in Internet Settings of the Control Panel... or in Internet Explorer Tools?

Yes I tried that with the same results. It always set back to excite.com

    Spybot

    Hi :

I believe Spybot's "TeaTimer" MAY "lock" a person's Home Page !? Would look
around and/or ask on THEIR Support Forums at http://forums.spybot.info .
