  1. Are there any free full programs that allow me to recover a password that is on my computer. I saved my password on facebook in firefox but it is hidden with black dots for each character. I know i can just sign on but i want to know the password. I don't remember it since i've been gone for a while. can you help me figure out what it is?

    ----------

    For Laptops see:
HP / Dell / etc. laptop password help thread (Aug - Oct 2008)

    For Desktops:
Try reset Bios from the main board (usually jumper on Maniboard)
Try clrcmos for clearing out cmos passwords
    How to use
Boot to DOS. (using a bootable floppy or CD containing CLRCMOS.
Type clrcmos on the command line and press enter
Works on 99 % of computers
Or contact your computer manufacture for an unlock key

I should have stated to put your specs in your Profile (also answering Yes in there as well)
