How can I tell whether a laptop is 32-bit or 62-bit?

  1. I was wondering, how do I know for sure whether or not my laptop or computer is 32-bit or 62-bit? Any reply would be much appreciated.

    I assume you're talking about the CPU and not the operating system. If you know what kind of processor it has you can look it up at Intel or AMD. Another option is running CPU-Z which will tell you everything about the CPU.

    Rt-click My Computer/Properties.
    64 bit will say so.

    Yeah on windows, but if your asking the processor, you might want to check and post back here.

    take a look on the task manager and the CPU, if you have more than one CPU, you can install a 64 bits operating system

    That's not true jaune - a P4 with HT will show up as 2 CPUs and cannot support a 64-bit OS.
