How can I use my PC laptop with kvm switch and Mac mini?

    Hello - I'm a new member so be kind.
    I have Acer Aspire laptop and want to use its display to share with a Mac mini using kvm switch. Will this work? I have IOGEAR kvm switch and need help in connecting them. Any and all suggestions appreciated!

    You'll need an external display in order to use the Mac mini.

    The laptop has its own display, but you can only output the display to another screen, not the other way around.

    The idea of a KVM is to connect multiple computers (not laptops as they have built in devices) to one display, keyboard and mouse.
