How concerned should I be if CPU temp is 85C?

I'm running speed fan and it has a flame beside CPU and AUX. What is AUX? My CPU is Intel i5 2500k.

That dose seem high, You may want to open up the case and get a can of air. To blow out any dust build up. Maybe put some new thermal paste on the cpu and see if this helps. This may be the cause of your freezes . In the thread under Software Apps.

Speedfan is notoriously inaccurate with a lot of systems, including most of the dozen or so I've tried it on. I recommend trying Real Temp or HWiNFO64. If temp is really that high you have a problem or you need a better CPU cooler.
