Hello all , I had ADSL through Telus for years now I moved into the country and now I have Xplornet. What I would like to do is use my 2wire wireless router that I had while hooked up through the phone line with Telus and use it with my new service. I tried hooking up the Cat5 network cable from my provider to the WAN port on the router and I get a wireless connection between my comp. and router because I had previously used it but it does not give me a connection to the net. Is it possible that the WAN port is dissabled because Telus uses the telephone jack to connect ? How do I make this thing work for me ?
