  1. Every time I log on, AVG keeps alerting me that i have a virus.

    it says under its description:

    C:/dra.exe

    Trojan Horse downloader.generic.MUM

This happens and then an internet pop up saying that I have spyware appears.

How do i get rid of this virus?

Also, my computer is running considerably slower, and it's not because of lack of space.

Thank you in advance for any help

First read the stickies at the top of this forum lots of good info. I'm just guessing as I am an amatuer at this, but it may be coming back because of System Restore or it's in your browser cache. Delete all of your temporary files (Tools/Internet Options/delete files/all offlinecontent). Download HJT and put it in its own folder. Disable system restore - boot to safe mode - run AVG and ad-aware. The run HJT - if you still have problems post up an HJT log and someone will probably step in to help.
